We chose to use a necklace in our music video because it is symbolic to our narrative as it showcases a symbol of love which Zayn gives to both of the women. It also is a link that both the women make when they cross paths in the storyline, they realise they have the same necklace and it makes them suspicious about if it has something to with Zayn. It helps the audience to understand the narrative in more detail and to put the pieces together which can be intriguing for the target audience as they have to connect the dots of the storyline and work out what is happening.

We wanted to use a car in our music video because we wanted to illustrate how Zayn was a high businessmen character in this storyline. This was shown by him being chauffeured around in a car to show he has power in the business industry and is rich. Also, it shows he is well respected as he is high in the business industry. Another reason we wanted to use a car in our video is that it can show passing of time and therefore show events happening at a later date and as a result shows that the content of the video is shown to be over multiple days not hours.

A prop we chose to include throughout the video is Zayn's and Bella's mobile phones. We chose to use Zayn's phone to show he has lots of contacts because of his busy job and to show how he uses it as an excuse to escape from one of the women he is seeing. We wanted to use Bella's phone to show how she is distraught when she finds out Zayn has a wife. This is shown by, Zayn ringing multiple times and Bella end the calls quickly to illustrate that she doesn't want to talk to him. It demonstrates to the audience, the power a mobile phone can have and how Zayn used his phone to keep the two women he loves from finding out about each other.

Another important prop we chose to include in our music video is photos of Bella and Zayn together. We chose to include these images because they demonstrate the happy relationship that took place between the two of them. It also showcases how they can represent heart ache as during the music video the images are ripped apart by Bella in her emotion of upset and anger. The photos are very important for showing how Zayn and Bella's relationship develops because of occurring events and information that Bella discovers.
